God's Love is Everlasting

As part of our being human, we experience temptations that are truly very difficult to overcome. These are the only weapons that the evil use in order to deceive us and to bring us away from God. At times, we often give in to the temptation because of our desire to uplift ourselves above from others and to give satisfaction to oneself. By nature, we are afraid of things and often confused by our faith. In connection with this, we cannot resist them alone, so, we must seek God's help through prayer. Humility will lead us to acknowledge our weaknesses and discover the essence of our responsibilities.

Countless years have passed, we have discovered numerous inventions like gadgets. And because of this inventions, we have created a world filled with immorality and turmoil. One of the reasons why this happens is because of gadgets itself. Talents are wasted, skills are set aside, and gifts are neglected. These things are given by our Creator yet we refuse to harness these. Are we so lazy to take full responsibilty of our tasks? Aren't we so gifted that we are alive and complete as human beings, yet we only think of our happiness and ambitions? The appearance of the world now reflects our worse attitudes.

Each of us human beings is created by God  for unique purposes. However, many of us teenagers now become addicted to computers, which comprises games, videos, and even things that require parental guidance. We have buried our precious gifts instead of using them to create incredible treasures that may have been significant in instructing others in need. But, as long as we are still alive, we still have a chance to change, a chance that can make our world better. We are very blessed that God made us a magnificent place to live in and he made us full with potentials and skills. Let us find and understand the everlasting love that God gave to us.

Temptations are truly the most difficult hardships we can overcome. To fight courageously against these  is the most victorious acts we can experience; and after we have accepted God in our hearts, we can inherit happiness that no one can give except the Lord, our God. As children of God, we should not be blind in realizing our weaknesses. Instead, we must correct these and turn away from the evil because their only purpose is to enslave us to become worthless. We know that our enemies are the evil ones and we too also know that God helps whenever we knock his door. God will make a way to bring us closer to him.

Life: A Pathway for Mankind

The journey of life is everlasting. Life has no end but has limitations for God created life to train humans to be prepared in a timeless and a limitless pilgrimage. The purpose of creating life is to test our whole self if we deserve to enter the kingdom of God. We, humans, are made to test our capabilities which consists faithfulness, perseverance, humility, and determination here on earth. Mankind must have these characters in order to surmount the insurmountable obstacles leading to God’s paradise. Before accomplishing one’s success, he must have a great point of view so that he can have a strength that can withstand threats. We should not try our best in achieving something; we should do our best to complete our mission.

The singer of the song is a priest who is faithful and at the same times brave and determined. He is a person who continues to inspire others by singing a song for he wants them to realize that all things are obtainable if we push ourselves on situations that test our entire being. He as a former college student makes his teacher glad by singing songs by his own. He is an approachable friend, who encourages his buddies, that God heals our despairs. He is a priest, who sings a song with great honor and pride, which led people to become humble. God has given him a rare talent to share with others for God knows that this person has the abilities of being compassionate, sincere, humble, and selfless. Unlocking one’s unique talent is the greatest gift of God to mankind.
The tone of the song sung by the priest is captivating. An amusing tone leads the singer to express well what message he wants to convey for it makes him proud in delivering the purpose of his song. Being confident in informing something makes the informant know himself better. The priest sang with great pleasure so he can communicate well to others. He chose to sing it merrily for he wants the listeners to appreciate the song by applying it into their selves. Knowing one’s self is a way of being faithful, brave, and determined for it makes someone to reach his goal. Communicating clearly needs confidence and certainty.
The mood of the song is inspirational. It gives delight to the listeners for it persuades and inspires them that lead them to apply what they have heard. The priest wants the listeners to believe that we should continue to defend and fight for our beliefs. He also inspires us that we should withstand the rejections by others. Basically, he wants us to be brave so that we can continue to complete our journey. We should persevere everything so that we can be eager to sacrifice our lives. Persevering is a way of sacrificing.
Humans should live life fulfilling their journey. Accomplishing our goal is a task that should be faithfully done because it gives us direction on the way that we are heading. It serves as a guide to us that we should follow the right path in everywhere that we go. It would lead us to be determined on continuing the pilgrimage of our life. We should not let evil grow because it blocks our way on continuing our journey. If we will continue pursuing our journey, we sure can decide exactly the decisions we will make. A person should have a “never quit” attitude in performing a task.

"NO PAIN, NO GAIN"

Upon arrival at Naval Special Warfare Command, check-ins for BUD/S are immediately placed into a pre-indoctrination phase of training known as 'PTRR', or Physical Training Rehabilitation and Remediation. PTRR is also where all of the 'roll-backs' are placed while waiting to be put into a class. Once additional medical screening is given, and after enough BUD/S candidates arrive for the same class, organized physical training begins.
BUD/S consists of a three-week 'Indoctrination Course', known as INDOC, followed by three phases, covering physical conditioning (seven weeks), diving (eight weeks), and land warfare (ten weeks) respectively. Officer and enlisted personnel go through the same training program. It is designed to develop and test their stamina, leadership, and ability to work as a team. In the first phase, BUD/S students are divided into 'Boat Crews' which can consist of six to eight men. Although some exercises will be undertaken as boat crews (such as 'log PT', which requires boats crews to exercise with logs that weigh 150 lb (68 kg) each, and 'Surf Passage', where boat crews must navigate the Pacific surf in inflatable boats), the first phase of BUD/S also consists of a series of demanding individual physical tests including frequent sets of push-ups and sit-ups, ocean swims and timed 4 mi (6.4 km) runs in boots and long trousers, in soft sand (to be completed in 32 minutes). The first phase is most well known for "Hell Week", 132 hours of continuous physical activity, which now occurs during week three. A student may drop on request (DOR) from the course at any time. The tradition of DOR consists of dropping one's helmet liner next to a pole with a brass ship’s bell attached to it and ringing the bell three times (the bell was taken away for a few years in the 1990s, then later brought back).[12] Classes typically lose around 70–80% of their trainees, either due to DORs or injuries sustained during training, but it is not always easy to predict which of the trainees will DOR during BUD/S. Winter class drop out rates are usually higher due to the cold. SEAL instructors say that in every class, approximately 10 percent of the students simply do not have the physical ability to complete the training. Another 10–15 percent will definitely make it through unless they sustain a serious physical injury. The other 75–80 percent is 'up for grabs' depending on their motivation. There has been at least one BUD/S class where no one has completed the program. Most trainees are eliminated prior to completion of Hell Week, but trainees will continue to DOR in the second phase or be forced to leave because of injuries, or failing either the diving tests or the timed runs and swims. In fact, the instructors tell the students at the very start of BUD/S that the vast majority of them will not successfully complete the course and that they are free at any time to drop out (via the bell) if they do not believe they can complete the course.
A trainee who DORs from First Phase before the completion of Hell Week and reapplies to the BUD/S program must start from the beginning of INDOC (if they are accepted). Any BUD/S trainee who drops on request after Hell Week goes through the same out-processing as a trainee who quits before or during Hell Week. If they reapply to BUD/S they would stand a very good chance of being accepted, but they must complete Hell Week again. However, those who have completed Hell Week, but cannot continue training due to injury are usually rolled back into the next BUD/S class after Hell Week, or the respective phase in which they were rolled. There are many SEALs who have attempted BUD/S two and even three or more times before successfully completing training.

The Greatest Success in My Life

My Valedictory Address:

It is of great privilege and pride to be right here in front of you, my dear parents, teachers, schoolmates, guests, ladies and gentlemen, let me first say, Good Afternoon…

I’d like to ask my fellow graduates to indulge me for a moment and think of the lowest time during your years at Dalaguete Central  Elementary  School, maybe it was the assignment where you couldn’t understand the questions, let alone the answers or the final exam where you were only able to answer half problems..It’s not a pleasant thought is it? Now look around you and think of today. We made it and we did it together. Of course we’re not the only ones on the journey and it wouldn’t be right to continue without a few “thank you” to the people who are behind the success we have today.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers, who have imparted their knowledge, molded and trained us with patience, and sacrifices. We will leave this school equipped with skills and moral values. Thank you our dear mentors, to our parents, their guidance and encouragement make us what we are today, of course to my Daddy who works hard for us, a distant worker from the US, striving a lot to sustain our needs and our studies. Though he is not around here, I would like to express how grateful I am for having such kind of gorgeous father who readily sacrifices much of solitude away from his family for the sake of our future. Thank you very much Dad, and never could I find a word of describing how fortunate I am, even the luckiest of having the most wonderful woman in my life, my superwoman Mom, who never stops teaching me, nurturing me, to  who and what I am now. I know, I could never get what I have now w/o her endless, timeless effort & support. Mom “thank you” very much, I’m so proud of you. This gains I have now, is for you , my parents, my brothers and my family…

Graduation marks the end of my elementary years and the starting point of another course; a beginning of another step, the secondary level. Fears arise to our minds. What we ended is another start for a bigger challenge in life. It implies responsibility and burden to us so we should think of a way to surmount life’s innumerable struggle to build a better tomorrow. Just as every step of the stairs leads up to the threshold or like curtains that open as we walk through them, step by step until the final one is reached, which open to a magnificent vista of unending horizon. Let’s go hand in hand, face/the new challenges with more braveness. Continue to accept the pains for gains are always there…But let us always remain humble, diligent in our studies, and aim to realize our dreams.

What we need is merely focus; focus on what we should do. Let’s always have to make a big difference on what is right from wrong, since it is always a process to learn many things in our lives everyday, what we think is good, let’s do it and make the best out of it. Let us not stop working, but continue to face the facts that life is always a struggle. All of these could not be achieved without the “LORD ALMIGHTY FATHER’S “  guidance and blessings. Pray without ceasing, Thank you Lord for everything….

Ladies & gentlemen the prizes of life are at the end of each journey, not near the beginning. And it’s not given to me to know how many steps are necessary in order to reach my goal. My friends, from the bottom of my heart Thank You  & GOD BLESS…

                                                                                                                   Hearty Danmarc M. Canillo
                                                                                                                              - Valedictorian

Our Goal, Our Inspiration

What Pushes Me to Keep Reaching Success?

Everyone has his own goal. This goal serves as an inspiration to our life for it is the reason why we keep suffering just to achieve the accomplishments in life. We, as students and workers, wake up early in the morning or even sleep late at night for our goal keeps pushing us to obtain success. We, as leaders, must persevere rejections and discrimination for it is only a test if we are worthy to be a great leader. We, as human beings, must follow the words of God for it is the only way to overcome temptations. Our goal is one of the greatest inspirations in our life.

Life of a High School Student

At first, I never thought that being a first year student was very challenging. In fact, I was having a hard time doing my projects, assignments and tasks to do because when I was still in my previous elementary years, we are not trained to do such things. Honestly, I don't complain why I have this hard tasks to do. To tell the truth, I feel that this tasks would make me better for it makes me prepared for the upcoming years. The reason why our teachers always gives us difficult tasks is that they want their students to become great leaders in the future. Challenging things would transform us into a great and better person.

The One Who Can See Us Always

God  is the only one who can see our actions. In everything that we do, God is always present. When we do horrible things that are not pleasing for him, He will do judgment on us. If we don't ask forgiveness from Him, or even apologize for what we have done, the punishment goes a lot more painful. The reason why God forgives humans is that they confess their sin honestly while the evil ones are corrupted by their pride. We should ask forgiveness to God for His patience is everlasting. Asking forgiveness is the great key for us to enter the kingdom of God.
